From nose to tail, Tech Deck fingerboards are engineered to replicate the feel of a real skateboard. My fingers and the amount of years I’ve been fingering boards agree with me on that too. I feel if I can at least find a 32mm which is what I mostly see on the net and on the sub it’ll make such a difference.ĭoes anybody know where I can purchase a 29mm complete setup (including 29mm trucks)? That would be a super treat for my fingers. Been lurking here on the subreddit for sometime now and have been leaning towards dynamics but again the size of the deck just doesn’t feel right to me and it’s what has been holding me off. I’ve been deciding over the past few days if I should try and upgrade the trucks. Fully setup it is very light compared to my tech deck. Wheels got bearings and rolls like a hot wheel. The bushings aren’t bushings they’re o-rings. The trucks could be better, kingpin is way to long for grinds. Might just be some bad foam tape but I like the feel of grip tape when I’m doin flips. With the foam tape on, there’s so much pop that when I do a kick flip, just feels like the board is gravitating towards my finger that it’s so easy to catch in air. I couldn’t find any other size decks similar to what I’ve been using for so long.ģ4mm is very wide for my preference. My 34mm p-rep just came in not too long ago and it’s my first transition into wooden finger boards. Plus it feel so much more satisfying when you win again someone in SKATE. Then proceeds to do a nollie flip tail slide. Up to this day I’ve been using my (28mm-29mm?) no concave what so ever (but modified with a benzomatic somewhere in high school to add a slight concave to it) and I love it to death.Ī guy here on the sub said you’re only as good as your skills.
